- Booking/Deposit
Our products and services are not booked until a deposit has been received.
If you would like to save your date with us we require a non-refundable deposit which will be deducted from your final invoice. Deposit amount is $100.
- Responsibility
All items supplied to you on a hire basis remain the sole property of Garden Igloo Va. All hire items are the responsibility of the hirer (you). The Garden Igloo Va provide all items for hire in good working order and these items must be returned in the same condition that which they were supplied.
- Our Igloos
The igloos includes full set up and breakdown. Due to the structure of our igloo’s we respectfully ask that they are not moved or taken down by anybody other than an employee of Garden Igloo Va to avoid damage. We pride ourselves on providing luxury products, therefore anything missing from the igloo or anything inside the igloo will be treated as a loss/theft and will be deducted from the damage deposit (see 6).
If you are hiring any tableware please do not wash them in the dishwasher as they are delicate and are only suitable for hand wash.
Please clean all rental items, included the igloo, otherwise $25 fee will be requested for cleaning implements.
- Cancellation/Amendments
In the event of a cancellation your deposit is non-refundable and will therefore be retained. Should you need to change the date of your event we will try to provide the items you require for your new date, however we cannot be held responsible if the new date is not available and the deposit is retained.
- Delivery Charges
Delivery and collection is included in our packages. Some of distance need to pay a fee ( Please see below)
Within 40-50 miles from Alexandria, Va $40
Within more than 50 miles from Alexandria, Va $50

- Security/Damages Deposit
All bookings are subject to a damages deposit of $50 which is due before we set up on your hire date – in cash. This will be refunded in full on collection minus any charges for damage, vandalism, missing items, and/or additional hire time other than that which has been previously agreed. If the amount exceeds the value of the damages deposit a supplementary invoice will be issued for immediate payment. Should you wish to receive a full breakdown of replacement charges before you make your booking please contact us.
- Required Garden Space
Before booking please ensure that there is at 12ft of flat space in your backyard – this can be grass, patio, decking etc. Garden Igloo Va are not liable for any damage done to grass.
We also require a indoor or outdoor plug.
- Size Of Our Igloo’s
Our Igloo’s are 12x12Ft.
If we arrive and there is no space to set up our Igloo, we may refuse to set up and take full payment. It is your responsibility to ensure that your backyard is suitable for our igloo’s and that there is enough space for our igloo’s to be set up in.
- Fire Risks
There is strictly NO SMOKING permitted inside or next to our igloos to prevent any fire risks or damage to our igloos cover or any furniture inside the igloo. You are required to ensure that the electric fireplace is off when you are not inside the igloo, and that there is nothing covering the fireplace during your hire as this is a fire hazard.
If you are leaving the igloo unattended you are to ensure that the electricity is turned off at the main plug.
DO NOT bring any lit candles inside the igloo or any other flames such as a fire pit as this is a fire hazard and may damage our igloos cover.
10. Set Up/Collection Times
We will arrive to set up at a time you need it, the exact time depends on our schedule for the day. Collection times are the next morning between 7-11am.
We need 2 hours to assemble and decorate our igloo for your event.
11. INSURANCE
Insurance is the Client’s responsibility during the rental period. Garden Igloo Va is not liable for any accidents that occur during said rental period. The Client accepts all liability when renting from the Garden Igloo Va. The Client is responsible for the security of the equipment at all times during the rental period. Any lost, broken, damaged or destroyed equipment will be charged to the client at full replacement value.
We strictly provide entertainment.
Please be aware that children need to be supervised. Garden Igloo Va, will not be liable for any claim for personal injury, death, loss or damage to the property however caused. Garden igloo Va, has the final decision in all matters relating to these Terms & Conditions.
